What to take when travelling to America?
on the 6th of september i am travelling to florida for a 2 weeks. i have never travelled overseas before so i was wondering what I should take when travelling. what stuff should i be taking with me on a 13 hour flight to keep me occupied (there isnt any tv's on the backs of the seats!!!) and what kinda stuff should i bring for the trip in gerneral eg. clothes and toiletries and stuff

Don't forget the basics like passport and a visa because USA security is really tight. If you hire a car take your driving license too, and get your health insurance checked out before you go.
Get a book out of the library for the long flight, and you might want to get some earplugs if you want to sleep on the flight as sometimes they are not complimentary and its noisy if you sit at the back of the plane. If you can choose go as close to the front as possible.
Florida is really hot (30s) so pack as if its going to be a really sunny, but it's hurricane season too so pack a small rain coat & trainers.
It depends what sort of hotel you're staying in, but in terms of toiletries, just pack everything you'd need at home just in case. If you look in Boots you can get travel sized toothpaste and stuff.
You might want to get a guide book too. You can get little pocket sized guides that are really friendly and tell you everything you need to know from Berlitz for £10-15 or there might be one if the library you can borrow.
If you haven't been on a plane before, don't let them scare you with the safety briefing, and the plane does sometimes crash about a bit so don't worry if its a bit bumpy!!!

If you are traveling to America then the most imporatnt thing is your passport. If you have interested to listen the music then take a i pod, camera, magazine and the things by which you are able to pass your time easily.

beach stuff... swim suit, beach towel, sunglasses, flip flops, sun screen.
camera, phone, phone charger.
clothes- day/night/pajamas
shoes!
magazines, crossword puzzles, IPOD, neck pillow, small blanket, FOOD to snack on!
