Yes, wash it at lease once a month. Make sure you use an environmentally friendly shampoo in case you encounter Al Gore in the shower.

pick up as much as you usually do to put your hair half way up but only in the back leave the front for now then tease your hair from under with a comb then get the front and put it back like you usually do it looks really good to me you could also braid your bangs on one side if your hair is parted to the side and one day you could part it to the middle and do one side or both i find the easiest way us to grab three hairs as thick as you would like the braid then go which ever direction you want the braid to fall picking up hairs as you go like a french braid you could prob use hair bands just after you put them on push them forward a little and the reason you prob don't use the straightner is that it will fry your hair but if you use it like once a month it won't do anything and i bet your hair will look so awesome becaue you usually don't do it and a little gel might help you you could wear it down

Why not crimp it by putting hair in plaits or french plaits after you wash it then leave it in overnight take them out in the morning and voila, crimped hair.

-braid your hair overnight then take it out in the morning. your hair will look cute and curly :)

-put your bangs or a bit of the front of your hair in a quiff then either let your hair out or tie it up

-braid all your hair

-side ponytail. very simple yet looking gorgeous

-let your hair out and accessorize
