-1, The guy was a low life tree hugger who supported killing babies. I know where he is now, unless he made a drastic change before he died, which I hope he did.

5 -- I live and vote in Massachusetts. The open Senate seat is the first in 25 years. I expect that there will be chaos as Democrats rush to fund raise and scramble for the opening. Republicans will concentrate on the race they can win: the governorship.
Kennedy also had the best staff in the Senate -- if you needed anything at all having to do with the federal government, you would make the call, and it would get done. Have to break in a new set of staffers.

I could care less so a 1. I didn't agree with Kennedy's politics but I do respect his years of service and the fact that he fought for underprivileged people. You can disagree but still respect someone.

3. Its an end of an era that all the Kennedy men have died and that's a bit sad, but I'm going to keep on with my life and probably only think about it when it comes up on the news.

People die, it's sad, but part of life. I didn't know him personally and he doesn't pay my bills, so I have better things to worry about. RIP Sen. Kennedy.
