Wow, that sucks :P
You'd probably get more help if you posted this question under "Cats" or "Computers". Definitely try to soak up as much of the pee as you can obviously. Let it dry out from the inside, maybe flip it upside down so the pee drips out the keyboard? Couldn't hurt. My guess is it probably won't work very good/at all after this. Even if it does it will smell for eternity:( You could always call your local computer store, I'm sure they hear about things spilled in computers all the time. I don't know much about computers, but I do have a cat.
The reasons the cat may have done this is:
#1 his litterbox is too dirty. Cats are very picky about their bathroom, clean it every 1- 2 days or you may find other things peed/crapped on. Clean laundry is a common target for some reason.
#2. He/she is territorial. If there are other cats around in heat then your cat may have sprayed your computer with it's scent. Getting your cat fixed will fix this problem.
#3. He's jealous of your computer because it gets more attention. I know a cat like this.
#4. Your cat is mad at you. Did you step it's tail or forget to warm up it's food before serving? Cats are funny that way but that's why we love them!! hahaha
Good luck :)

The circuits are probably fried. And I would be a little worried about it going on fire. Electronics and moisture don't mix. Take it into a computer shop, though it will probably cost more to get fixed and in my experience, no matter how many times you fix sometimes, its still broken. As for the cat, close the door to the room the laptop is in or put it up where the cat can't reach it.

You are going to have to take your laptop in some place, but it might be cheaper for you to just buy a new one. To stop the problem, put your laptop way up high on a shelf or something so your cat won't be able to get to it.

Um, well if you got liquid on your laptop, it's pretty much ruined. You could bring it in to the company you bought it from for a tune-up, but I doubt that will work. Next time, buy a case for your laptop to store it in, or hide it up high so your cat won't find it.

Holy hell, that sucks!!
Have you tried taking out the battery and HD, letting it dry out over night and re-assembling it and seeing if it works?
Does a power light come on or anything?!
If nothing, not even a power light, comes on, then you're probably looking at a fried fuse, circuit or something else that'd be a pain to fix.
Was it on when it got pee'd on? That would have fried it!
I'm not sure what to suggest other than drying it out and maybe hoping for the best and sending your kitty kat out to work and earn a decent wage to buy you a new one!

Oh lawd. Sorry to say but your laptop might as well be thrown in the bin, unless you want to spend alot of money getting it fixed and with laptop prices these days you may as well just invest in a new one.
PS: Kill the cat.

Take laptop to shop and cat to shelter.
Pay for the laptop but don't get another cat. They all pee.
