Would you ever relocate to a place where you don't know ANYone?

...or if you have, how did it turn out?

Well, I tried to relocate to a place where I only knew ONE person.

I tried Canada once, but I got deported by Canadian border agents. They put me on the first plane leaving the country ... which happened to be going in the opposite direction from whence I came.

And that, children, is how I spent the night in Washington D.C.'s Dulles International Airport located in scenic Chantilly, VA, sleeping on the floor of the lobby until the ticket counters opened the next morning.

And let me tell you, when you just show up at an airport with no prior ticket, no schedule and try to buy a ticket across the country, while looking like you spent the night on an airport lobby floor ... airport security gets a little ... overly interested.

I'm applying for citizenship in the World. I can honestly say that everyone I know lives here already. Nor could I imagine living anywhere else.

It's not a big place by any means.

Hey, it happened in High School. I'm the type of energetic, loud, smart, sweet kind of girl. So, I make up the conversations and people get along with me. Even though some who are shy just look down. Or others get scared and walk away LOL. Ya, I've been through there.

Did it about 5 months ago, and it's going great. I don't like people all that much anyway.
