Are carrots good for your eyes?
I play video games and I am on the computers to much so my eyes are bad. Yes I wear glasses but Iwould like to know which foods help your eyes. Also I may have to stay away from video games for a long time.

Carrots provide you with vitamin A (actually, beta carotene, which you convert to vitamin A). If you aren't getting enough vitamin A you can have vision difficulties. However, if you are already getting enough, getting more will not improve your vision.
Potatoes don't have much vitamin A, but sweet potatoes do. Generally speaking, veggies and fruits that are orange will have beta carotene.

Yes, because carrots are a good source of Vitamin A which is good for your eyes. Carrots also help with night vision.

I've been told many reasons why carrots are good for your eyes, one reason is they help the pupil focus better as for potatoes no idea

I have recently started eating carrot sticks every night to snack on while I make dinner. I don't need my glasses to ready anymore.
