Using the word Kafir?

Alhamdulillah I am aware of that hence I do not call anyone that, but trust me not many people take heed, I guess less fear of Ar-Rahamn and their nafs get the better of them, they think it is good to insult/curse and speak negatively. May Allah swt forgive us all ameen and allow to strive for righteousnesss ameen.

Alhamdulillah i agree. When i learned about that i started taking much caution in calling anyone that. I would not call another Muslim such a thing despite their actions lest it falls back on me (may Allah forbid).

We all must be very careful to guard our tongues.

Before we start calling each other Kafir at the drop of a hat, it is important to educate ourselves

Are they those, of whom you swore that Allah would never show them mercy. (Behold! It has been said to them): "Enter Paradise, no fear shall be on you, nor shall you grieve." Quran 7:49

Aditional Edit: By giving God's characteristics to others beside God, will result in a person becoming a mushrik. Calling a human being infallible is certainly shirk, the practice of some Muslims to declare compilers of Ahadith as infallible or Imams as infallible cannot be anything but shirk.

Infallibility is reserved for God alone, the human condition is to err.

The word "kafir" is so big, i can't say it to some one who belives in Allah (swt) and his final prophet(pbuh)

it is not allowed to call muslims as kaafir, but if there is crystal clear proofs about one being a kaafir,then what is wrong to call him as kaafir? will you call salman rushdie as muslim?
