What Are Your Favorite Movies With LGBT Subplots (But The Films Themselves Aren't LGBT-Themed)?

I think my personal faves are:

May: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DwytTsUy0kg

Songcatcher: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uByyj2Yy38Y

Eighteen: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1t_KgOredHM

I'm trying to think of more but am drawing a blank, sadly!

Well, one I remember watching is a movie starring Kevin Bacon called "Lemon Sky". As you described, it wasn't LGBT themed but it did have a LGBT subplot.

Another one (which I love) is a film starring Gregoire Colin called "Olivier, Olivier". It doesn't even have an actual out-right LGBT subplot... but just a hint of it. It's a great movie. =)

And I might be mistaken, but I've always imagined "The Drugstore Cowboy", with Matt Dillon and Kelly Lynch, to have an obscure gay subplot. But that might be more because of who produced it... Gus Van Sant... which of course leads us to "My Own Private Idaho". =)

the first movie i ever saw with a gay couple featured in it was Big Daddy with Adam Sandler....its such a funny movie and the couple is adorable in the scenes that they're in. They don't really have a sub plot per say but i really like the movie its one of my favourites.
