This Question is related to Avast ! Please help its urgent !?

If i download avast vps update today 28-8-2009 , and install it on 3 -9-2009 , even then will my computer say that your virus protection is out of date ?

Please i am curious to know about this ! And please don't give me the answer that i should dump or change from avast to anything else !

Not even AVG !

    Yes,your computer read it as out of date.Why install an outdated vps to it(If you can download the vps,save it and then install it at a later date).If you are going away for a few days,weeks or months.And you come back just run the update of the vps before you start using the net.

    Do you think an old,don't know have been kept for long condom can protect you from getting virus(STD,HIV,AIDS,etc)

    If you stop all updates between now and then,sure it will say it's out of date.If you just skip that update and let others install then no,it won't say it's out of date.I'm an Avast user myself but never had to urge to try what you want to do.Missing an update could mean the difference between getting a virus and not getting one.

    our computer or os jst check 2thing.

    1)current database date of the anti virus.

    2)current date of system.

    wen u download update......its date is 28-8.

    wen u install it ,compu chk tht date it is 28-8,even u install it on 3-9.

    so compu generate tht msg of "out of date.

    but dont be tension from it ,it is not harmfu; for ur pc if u update at some regular period.
