My dog always follows me around, why ?

well im no dog breeder but im pretty young and i know a lot about dogs. when a dog follows u around it could be hungry, wants to go outside, or it usually its just protecting u actually. there are other reasons why this could be happening. ur dog could be following u because he just loves u. if u take care of him and love him to death then that could also be a reason why hes following u!!

Well love, because you have proven to your dog to be an excellent pack leader. It's like a younger child mimicking an older child that they want to be like or be with. She is showing you respect that you are the alpha and that no matter what she is there for you. What an honor she has bestowed on you. I have to work hard with dogs and their families and love...it takes a lot of time to get dogs to respond the way your dog is responding to you. Consider yourself very blessed, as I am sure she considers herself for having you in her life.

dogs are pack animals. She sees you as the Alpha (leader) that she loves, trusts and wants to be around. This is a good thing and you are so blessed to have a dog that loves you so much.

Both of my dogs follow me like they were iron and I was the magnet. One of them was trained to and the other just picked up on the follow the leader.

it could be a number of thing's but i would say she is just protecting you or guarding you. To tell you the truth i dont think there is nothing you can do about it. Sorry

its because she loves you :) dogs follow whoever is their master, which is generally whoever normally feeds them, my dog does it and it can be annoying when i almost trip over her but i know she means well
