When the next congressional election comes, Will you vote for someone that isnt a Republican or Democrat?

Being that we have given both complete power over the Executive and Legislative branches of the Federal Government and both have been corrupt with that power. The only way to honestly Change something is to get rid of the old and start anew. Therefore I think we should all seriously look at all third party candidates equally instead of caring what the little (D or R) next to a persons name is for.

Depends on who is running. Obama ran on the Working Families party platform here in NY as well the GOP, so I voted third party for him.

I also tend to vote more third party in local elections.

The idea of a third party has always been appealing in theory. In practice, however, third party candidates almost never win the election. I want change and improvement in government so I am more committed to the Democratic party that I've been in my entire life. Protest and idealism are fine but unless the candidate is elected, then it devolves into "sound and fury, signifying nothing".

The hijacking of the judicial & legislative branch was accomplished previous to the last election by a combination of secrecy, executive orders, and the claim that to protect America, the executive branch could do whatever it pleased. Those practices will be gradually abolished although laws may have to be enacted to prevent abuses in the future.

I will vote for the candidate that stands for and defends the Constitution. Anything else will be fought against. I am going to volunteer for a candidate of this persuasion, hopefully Ron Paul will run.

Any congressional candidate supporting socialism/fascism (ie. Obamacare, bailouts, cap & trade) will not be voted for by me, nor by anyone that I associate with in 2010. It is time to remind them who they work for.

First I will look at what they believe their responsibility is to the people. I would most likely vote for a Republican over a Democrat but first I would look at what they stand for.

It depends how they handle the health care bill, the rest of the policies and how they respond to their constituents in the future.

I would consider someone from another party... I doubt there will be a viable independent or other party candidate.
