Why do black people tend to be loud, confrontational, and get offended so easily?

First off, I didn't say ALL black people. Just that many of them tend to be loud and pissed off at the world. They beg for a reason for the cops to get physical with them, so then they can flip on the camera phones and tape what happened AFTER they were being disorderly. In restaurants and other public places they are super loud compared to other tables...and oh god don't you dare ask them to keep it down because then they will flip the script on you and make it all about them. Many are so quick to play the race card because they know that non blacks will just be like hey whatever have it your way....just shut up and quit whining about it already. I don't want to hear that crap about "I am black or my black friends aren't loud", because you know what I'm talking about. We all have seen it.

Update:

Chloe, I'm sure you are neutral in the matter. But to say you never seen this makes me think you live in a vacuum.

Update 2:

Don't need to hear about the opressed stuff either. Slaves were freed two centuries back, and segregation ended back in the 60s. In other words, most of you weren't even BORN when blacks were treated like 2nd class citizens, so quit making excuses for bad behavor. Also, when you mention other countries it's the people there in general, not how the blacks in USA try to keep the whole subculture thing going and cry racism whenever things don't go their way.

That's a really good point, although I think African Americans would sum it up, better than black people. I was born and raised in Africa, and I moved here when I was 7 or 8. I had never seen people behave so wildly, up until I moved here. Most seem to be boisterous, and annoying, they also seem to turn everything into something about race. It's really sad, because it makes all black people look bad, even those that are not. This is why wherever I go and I'm asked, I make sure to clear up the fact that I am African, and not African American, because we were for sure raised very, very differently.

Although it isn't ALL black people, it is the vast majority. I think that majority is shrinking year after year though. As our races become more mixed, and as the ghettos start to disappear, I think you will see a big change. All this racists stuff wouldn't exist if we were all the same race. However, bad behavior, bitterness, and poverty knows no race, and that is what you are talking about here.

It used to be a "white" world, but that was 50 years ago, and more. Prejudice and segregation is nil and void now. Sure, it still exists on a small scale, but it is not acceptable to the large majority. Given time, it will die out, but there is always the exception, and there will always be bad people in the world. The goal is to keep the bad people to the lowest possible percentage.

It's true. That's why crime rate is so high in the black community. They are more likely to get back at you than walk away. I lived in the black community and if you accidently bumped your feet on their sneakers, they get so upset and it ruins their day. Sometimes I'm walking and looking around, and they want to fight me because I looked at them.

I have no idea why? Maybe they've been unheard for so long that they act loud in other ways?? Blacks in general aren't giving the opportunity to get credit, so when they speak, people don't take them serious, and as a result, they are loud? I know that when I speak, I can speak in a softer voice because I have credit behind me. Being the race I am, I get a lot of opportunities to prove myself, whereas many blacks don't get that.

There are a lot of angry black folks out there, who feel they're owed something and it's not their fault. In reality, they're lazy or just too poor. Some just have a chip on their shoulder and look for trouble anyway they can to possibly make a profit by hook or by crook. Avoid them and ignore them. Rest assured that while there are many like that, there are many more who are not.

First of all, we're the HUMAN race. Any human from any ethnic back ground on this planet has the potential of rage from being antagonized. And your question seems to be very one-sided in a way of painting a view of what you've only seen on TV. Of course you'll complain on how 'loud' and 'confrontational' black people can be. It's not because they're angry at the world. It's because they're not understood. I'm sure you would probably feel the same way if you had experienced being oppressed for just being born a certain way.

so youre saying that white people dont behave this way?

i will list a few country names and lets see if that doesnt ring a bell or two

    ireland

    scotland

    wales

    france

    italy

    greece

    russia

    germany

there are lots of countries where people are raised to be passionate and exuberant in their relations with others.

if you consider that jamaica for example was settled by white people who originally came for mining, then it stands to reason that the local jamaican population would learn english from those who settled the place....irish and welsh miners.

you can hear both accents in the jamaican english if you listen. and both can be quite boistrous when their backs are up. so if black people in america are like that they got it from the people who brought them here in the first place

I haven't met a black person like that. I'm sure you could say that about anyone. Lots of people play "cards", whether it's the gender card, race card, whatever. I'm not saying anything else. I am neutral...
