Last year at the Big 10 Luncheon he stressed the family importance of the team, before his first season. He is a good guy, and if what he said today is true, than the players were just misquoted.

Also, it will be nearly impossible to prove if the "OPTIONAL" workouts were made mandatory.

Tebow and McCoy and Bradford MAKE their teamates attend these optional workouts, but because Michigan is young and doesn't have any Tebow esque figures, maybe Rich Rod is filling that void?

Anyway, he would be foolish to be making NCAA rules violations after a 3-9 first season. HE DOES CARE!!!!!!!

I think it's too early to tell, and we should wait until the NCAA concludes its investigation and more facts come out. As much as I would love to learn that UofM (and OSU for that matter) have been violating practice rules (pretty severely according to the allegations) and as funny as it would be that they cheated and still had a losing season snapping their 33 year bowl streak, I think that innocent until proven guilty is an important principle, and I don't want to pass judgment on anyone involved until we have more facts.
