Spiritually wondering: Is there a certain day of the year, you do NOT look forward too?!?

WHY?!!

Update:

bonus question: is it better to remember the exact day....or should you try and forget the date....!

how do you do that?!?

actually 2 days of the year that seem to go on forever.

1.x mass and the "music" and the same old greetings i could not care less about.

2.halloween as the kids go to town burning the plastic porta potties and destroying vacant homes up for sale while threatening us with :pay for protection or we wreck your joint ?

if i could leave this planet that is now the lord of the flies domain then i'd be gone like years ago.

    Christmas

It's become ultra-commercialized. There is little or no emphasis on Jesus Christ. People are already stocking their stores for Christmas supplies. TBS was showing Christmas movies over the weekend. It's four months away. And, after all is said and done, it's just another 24 hours past.

Every day is a blessing, so I look forward to it. And if you are already old, then every day is a bonus of fun, laughter, reminiscing, and yes, pain. But disregard the pain, go on with the fun and laughter.

  • The Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays and all the obligatory dysfunctional family crap associated with it. I just want to fly somewhere far, far away this year and not return until it's all over.

    I don't look forward to September 1st.

It's like another summer raced by again before I knew it.

I blinked twice and it was gone...

the first day of the nfl season. american football is slow, boring, and people are way to interested in it (and they assume i am too for some reason). i don't really pay attention to when it is (and have no idea what system for dealing with taht is best), i just know it is coming soon.

My birthday - because it reminds me of all the friends, family and respected fellow humans who're no longer among the living...
