I remember that stuff, also Marv Levy's and Bill Parcells's names should be added to the list, since they also admitted doing the same thing.
But here is a realistic take on the whole thing. Regardless that it was a rule or not, teams were still doing it. As a matter of fact, on one of the tapes that the Patriots turned over to the league, it actually has the Jets head coach at the time Herm Edwards waving at the camera. He later said that this was still a common practice in the NFL and that it wasn't a big deal. Its naive if not stupid, to think that the Patriots are/were the only team in the league still trying to find an edge.

Here's my take on it. Back when JJ did it, there was no league rule saying you can't video tape. The rule was later established, all teams knew of it & yet the Pats still video taped it.
Also, there is no mention that any of the other coaches mentioned in this "so-called" article, did any of this during SB week.

Just goes to show you, that no matter what you think about the Patriots, they aren't the only ones out there cheating, they are just the ones that got caught.

Spygate was so overblown, there is no point talking about it. It is called scouting.
