Should i feel bad about my cousin?

She is 18 and she snapped this year. She's lived what i would call a sheltered life due to her mom (my aunt) and now she's totally boy crazy. Crazy enough to have ruined her chances to get into high end colleges that she always wanted to get into. And now my aunt some how connects this to me and blames me, and demands an apology. So, is it right for me to apologize when i haven't done a thing?

Update:

I haven't seen her for the last...4 years. The only reason why i can think my aunt blames me is because i don't live the life that she has raised her daughter up in

at 18 she is old enough to be responsible for her own actions.if you truly have not done anything wrong then I wouldn't worry about it.your aunt needs to get over it she has to cut the cord sometime

wow, sounds like your aunt is, no offense a little crazy. you should still apologize because she is family and you don't want to cause drama. she's just blaming you because she doesn't want to blame herself or her own daughter.

Well that's the question: have you really done anything or not?

Think about it and don't lie.

You may have influenced her to be boy crazy or you may have been a bad influence.

I would not apologize for something you didn't do! I would tell her it's not your fault for her messing up her kid!
