Verizon: What's the best Blackberry?

Getting a new phone tomorrow. Not sure what to get. Basically I heard that you buy 1 get 1 free for blackberry's, but not sure what to get.

Some people say that the Storm isn't as good. All I am really looking for is just a good phone. Not gonna use it for emails, internet. Only Text + Calls.

Help me choose on what to get, thanks.

My brother and I have the Storm. He absolutely HATES it, and I wouldn't disagree because his is defected. Mine on the other hand is fine, and I don't love but don't hate it. Yes, it's lags and is slow and texting is mediocre. I got a lot of friends with the Storm and they all hate it, I seem to be the only one who doesn't mind. But anyways, my bro and I are getting the Tour tomorrow. I'm very excited and so is he. Haven't tried out the Tour yet but I know I'll be satisfied. The Storm's battery life isn't great and the best thing about it is simply: the big beautiful screen. But software and performance, it's not a great phone. I think Blackberry just wanted to make something new: hence the first touchscreen blackberry. Yes, they succeeded in sales. But failed miserably on the phone itself. It's as if they knew it would sell so well that they just didn't try and give a dam. I hear very good reviews on the tour so if your going for a Blackberry for texting (me too), the storm isn't the best choice. But if you do get the Storm, good luck finding a good one like me, and not a defected one like my brother. His first Storm just didn't work at all. The second one which he currently has now, has a few bugs and stuff. And often drops the call for no reason, which is weird because I have never dropped a call. We have verizon by the way and his service when he made the calls that he dropped we fine so it was clearly the phones problem. I do NOT recommend the Blackberry Storm, mainly for it's unstable production.
