Does anyone know how to create animated .gifs?

Hi,

An animated .gif of any video would be rendered HUGE and for most parts very inpracticable! So I presume you mean to take snippets of videos and then turn that into a .gif.

I use the DAZ Studio with Carrara 3D modelling that allows extensive animations but can be very expensive for the latest versions. However, there are lots of FREE alternatives at;

You would have to edit the YouTube file in a media editor to cut down the file size as you do not want to make a complete animated gif with a full video. Once you have all the frames in the video you want to keep, then you can use any media converter to convert the file format to a gif format.

I don't know of any free video editor although you might try using a trial version of one, but here are the converters...
