If I can consistently do 180's on skis, should a 360 by easy?

I can do 180's cleanly and basically every time. I haven't tried 3's yet, and have heard that they are actually easier. Is this true? And any tips on getting the rotation would be nice. I wouldn't be doing them off of kickers until I got em down, but would try medium sized jumps

Start small then work your way up. You want to be able to spin off of a small jump before moving on to a larger jump even though people will tell you spinning off of a larger jump is easier, your skills will be greater by starting small. Threes are easy once you get over the fear of spinning. The only thing easier about a 360 compared to a 180 is landing forward. With a 180 your eyes can always be on the landing. When spinning a three you want to approach a small jump with sufficient speed to hit the landing. Always straight air a jump after checking out the landing and before attempting any spins. Once you hit the lip of the jump you want to pop straight up and at the same time throw your chin over the shoulder in the direction you want to spin. Your body will follow your eyes so keep looking over your shoulder until you are a little more than halfway around. At this point start looking for your landing. While spinning, try not to let your hands drop to your sides or back, it will throw your balance off until you are proficient at spinning. Practice until perfection before moving to a larger jump.
