Damn xbox update....im going crazy!!!?

I have never used xbox live online....just doesnt interest me as internet connections where i live are not the greatest. So anyway today i decided to buy the Fallout 3 DLC which i was excited about,so i had to update some box live stuff. After the update i cat see any gamer score it shows zero and also any game i put in doesnt exist so to speak and i have to start again,i have no achievements at all. What can i do???

Update:

I definatley didn't cancel my account,nothing came up saying do you want to cancel your account,it still has the right I.D though

    This update may have corrupted your profile

    Go to Systems Settings > Memory and delete any corrupt files

    You can recover your Gamertag after

    Did you accidently delete your account?

    If you did that might be why
