Genocidal war. That's where we have once again brought ourselves.

Almost forty years ago, after leaving the US Army, I asked that question about the whole world. About thirty years later -- after studying first the philosophies of the major religions and not finding the answer, then expanding my investigation to cultures in general, and finally also to social institutions -- the answers came.

We repetitively paint ourselves into corners where war is the only way out. Commonly we overpopulate and must take more land and resources, or squander our investment capital and must take more resources we can no longer afford to buy.

The Euro-cultures have done the latter again (they finally learned to not overpopulate) but the rest of the world still grossly overpopulates. I suspect it's too late to avoid WW III, but the other cultures are beginning to realize what overpopulation does to them and, with globalism, how it cheapens labor and depletes resources over the whole world; so I believe we have a good chance of avoiding WW IV.

Source(s): decades studying philosophies, cultures, and social institutions began because of the confusion resulting from my military experience under the shadow of neo-Marxist propaganda disseminated from universities PS: Happy Bolshevik gives you a classic example of Marxist rhetoric. That kind of pretenses has distracted us from the real causes all along. That's why it's never been solved.

No Our "by no skill-ending" wars are no longer by no skill-ending. Iraq is amazingly performed. And Obama is pushing for June 2011 to end Afghanistan. So there is not any could desire to rally help for the wars

I know people are going to see this comment as "terrorist like" but America has to let Israel stand on it's own two feet, that is the only way the middle east will calm down.

This world will end because of a stupid conflict between palestine and israel if we dont stop it now.

World capitalism has entered in this new explosive stage of crisis having already behind it a decade of imperialist wars that devasted the Balkans, the Middle East and Central Asia without making possible to imperialism to achieve its goals.

The position of US imperialism is undermined both by the world capitalist crisis, whose center is located precisely in the US, as well as by the military reverses in Iraq and Afghanistan. Imperialist antagonisms and rivalries are intensifying. But this does not imply that a new capitalist superpower could replace US as world hegemon: American capitalism represents the highest point of the historical development of world capitalism and of its decline. Humanity is still confronted with the volcanic eruptions of a declining US capitalism which cannot find any internal equilibrium without establishing a new world equilibrium under its supremacy.

We love all this unstoppable mess!

    The great wall of justice.

    j/k.

I'd ask them what they think would be a good way to get them to stop fighting, without killing each other.

I think we should give them a chance to solve their own disputes.

The Israeli army should pull out of the west bank and be replaced with Nato or UN troops.

    This is the only way.
