Do you think it might be at all possible to get any of these poems published?

Ive posted them in my blog

http://blogs.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog...

There are about 25 posts (including some random entries). I knw that publishing poetry takes a lot to do. One of the things i am curious about is if i can capture the reader. That is one of the most important things. Being sure that my work is something that someone would want to read. I can't figure this out for myself, because i love to read my work, but i am not everyone else.

One of the poems that is not in the blog (mainly cause no matter what i did, it wouldnt let me post it in the style i wanted) ive included here.

So, if you would. Just take a couple mins to browse some of them. And tell me which ones might be suitable for publishing, or if publishing is even a good idea. I would very much appreciate it.

Thanks in advance.

J. R. Spears

So afraid of death.

But I'm tired of living.

Can't find any meaning,

In these words I've been given.

I'm trying to search.

But I keep on forgetting,

That this path that I'm on,

Is so unforgiving.

I'm being held back.

And I can't seem to escape,

This unbreakable grasp.

Imprisoned by my fate.

And I'm trying to flee,

Only to be caught.

In this web I'm entangled,

By all that I've rought.

Always to be trapt,

By the hold of despair.

My life has no meaning.

And seems so unfair.

Update:

Gave the wrong link. or at least the link to the older ones. The newer ones are here:

And again. Thanks.

once you've posted something on the internet you can't publish it because so many people have copied it they can later claim that they wrote it before you did and that you stole it from them.....so in the future, if you want to publish a piece....do NOT post it on the network

Publishing companies now have all the resources to publish books with the same productivity and efficacy as that of regular black and white books you see in physical bookstores. Considering the fact that most books are in full color, you should choose a publishing company whose book’s are of the highest quality, bar none.

Believe in your book. Believe in yourself :)

Traditional publishers just don't know a good thing when they see one. Not all traditional publishers actually made the BEST decision when it comes to choosing books. Do you know that several best selling authors have been turned down by publishers? Stephen King, author of Gone with The Wind and Chicken Soup have been rejected by publishers and were not even given the second glance.

    Best of luck!

The question should be, do YOU think they are good enough to be published. I pc will not allow me to go to myspace, due to malware and spyware issues, so I might suggest you post them here, or even to the blog site of the poets of mars. The site is run by a publisher, and many who go there have books published.

They aren't quite THAT fantastic, sorry. I think you definitely have potential, but you need to hone your creativity more.
