If you have been seen by child services at your home to check it out, what are the standards with the house?

Make sure that the house is clean as possible. Make sure that there is food in the fridge......(i.e. Milk, cheese, eggs) and try to make sure that there is not any beer or liquor visable. They do not say a whole lot about it, but it would be a good idea to get rid of it. Also, make sure that your children have a bed to sleep in. Good luck.

They mostly look at the condition of the house like are there any defects that would hurt a child.... exposed plug ins, broken floors, loose objects a child could pick up, anything that could fall on a child by pulling on it. Just basic things that should be done to make a safe home.

They also look at the cleanness of the home. that its sanitary and appropriate hygiene.

That there is adequate food in the home. That there is enough for everyone thats in the home.

It really doesn't matter how old your home is, as long as its safe and clean and there is plenty of food.

Just make sure your house is very clean! They will check every room in the house,the refrigerator,and cabinets. They do not like to see beer,liquor or anything of that nature so try to make sure you get rid of it (if you drink). Of course,no illegal drugs or else they will take your children away from you.They might look to see if you have pictures of your children hanging up on your wall (they commented on how many pictures I had hanging up of my son) and they will especially check the kid's room to make sure he/she has a clean place to sleep with toys, and everything that child needs.I had social services come to my place without notice but I don't drink or do drugs plus i'm a very clean person so they had no problem with my place at all.

Well they check for cleanliness, Safety, Enough food supply in the house, Beds for the kids to sleep in. thats an idea of what they look for. The alcy part is a big issue they dont make a big deal about it if it is up high hidden. hope i helped any
