Ignorance is only bliss for the ignorant. Fools never seek knowledge, so thank you for the compliment!

Ignorance is only bliss when you have an emotional connection to a certain issue.

Most people are evolving past their emotions these days, at least on some level. So the amount of issues that can be openly researched by an individual has increased.

Ignorance is bliss for the ignorant not for the knowledgeable. Just like the worm in the sh*t feels so.

Ignorance is bliss and knowledge is bliss. It's the stuff in between that's dangerous.

"A little bit of knowledge is a dangerous thing."

Maybe seeking knowledge is an ignorant thing to do.

Because if you are ignorant, you do not realize that true bliss comes from knowledge.

Considering everything I've seen, I'm starting to think we humans want to be miserable.

I don't think we seek knowledge to truly understand, I think we seek it so we can look better than the next guy.

It is like saying if a blind is happy within himself why should we or he get his eyes/vision! Mere happiness/bliss does not liberate one unless awareness/knowledge of ones' constitutional position in creation is not realized and adhered to.

The bible says in Hosea 4:6 that My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. So what you don't know CAN hurt you. How does this apply to us? It is spiritual understanding given by God that destroys the "old man" out of us. Before we come to Christ, we walk in darkness, which means ignorance of the things of God. So as Christ light(understanding) gets brighter and brighter in ones life, this means we are gaining a greater knowledge of who He is.

Ignorance is bliss.....except to the people around you.

Stop being so stupid and people will like you.

Lol I think the saying is really like "it's better to be ignorant of what your friends REALLY think about you" not ignorance as in stupidity.
