How to manage time better in highschool?
I just started freshmen year a couple weeks ago and I'm really struggling to adjust to all the extra work.
They don't give out planners like they did in middle school and the planner that I bought doesn't have enough space on it to write all the hw for the subjects.
I'd usually sleep around 10:00 pm - 1:00 am, then wake up at 3:00 am to finish all hw that I didn't get to do, and start getting ready for school at about 5:30 am. So my grades are really suffering and I want to do better this year than I did last year.
So how can I manage my time better and stop procrastinating?

get folders, for each subject .. one side says NOTES ETC. one side says HW keep them aligned the one on top is always the newest so just date each paper then go home, do the hw, study a bit from each of the notes, sleep around 9 .. make sure your clean and fed, wake up at five thirty and bam. get a planner and put tests and events so you can be ready in advance. just try!

You've got to be crazy to be waking up at 3 AM. The best thing to do is to force yourself to sit down and do your homework as soon as you get home from school (I know it's tough, but you'll feel so much better once you get it done). You really need to get this under control, especially if you want to get good grades in high school and be successful in college (which is even more work than high school).

routines work best for me. i would come home every day, eat lunch while watching 1 tv show episode, then i would start my homework. depending on how long it took/how serious it was, i would take infrequent breaks in between, maybe check email or get a snack or something. isolate yourself away from distraction. prioritize your homework-whatever HAS to be finished the next day, get that done first. If you can afford one late day on something, do that last.
when you finish all of one night's homework, check over any assignments that will be due in the near future and get done anything that you can.
i used to spend a lot of lunches in the library getting work done, finishing some homework in between classes (like if i got to class before it started), or just work at my lunch table. some days my whole table would just be reading our assigned reading at the same time.
don't waste your time worrying about getting it done, instead, invest that time into actually working on it.
you'll get the hang of it. good luck in HS!

trust me man im a senior.
you gotta get your work done right when you get home, take a break if you need to but if you wait, you probabaly won't do it, or it will be bad quality.
i did that and eventually develpoed a "**** it" attitude. but that didnt help me at all.
just get it done first, and to help stay organized. i just wrote all the HW for my school on a piece on lined paper and kept it in the front my my binder.
hope this helped.

Freshman is the worst year I think.
Write notes on HW on paper and then put the paper inside that book.
Then these would be the books that you take home, leave the others in your locker.
