Getting your hair thinned?

Thinning your hair just means that some hairs are cut shorter within your cut so that it gives your hair the appearance and feeling of the hair is thinner. They will grow back just like any other cut. This can be done with either a razor, thinning/blending shears, or regular shears depending on the technique. Your stylist should know the appropriate method for your hair type, or you could end up looking a little fuzzy. If you have very curly or coarse hair, you may want to reconsider thinning, or at least discuss it thoroughly with your stylist. Just make sure to voice your concerns, and your stylist should know just what to do to make you happy!

I had a bad experience about 3 years ago I got it thinned out my hair is also thick the lady did it with a razor, I hated it. It looked like I had endless split ends. So, I had it cut into a bob, and let it grow back now my hair is very healthy and about 14" long, thick and growing.

When you get you hair thinned at a salon, what do they do? I would like to get mine thinned because it's so unmanageably thick. But if you do, what do they do, and can it ever be thick again?

Well mine used like a razor sorta thing,not quite sure but it doesnt hurt at all,but mine was done at my house,all she done was got the razor thingy and slowly went down my hair and the hair came down with it and my hair was super thinn but i loved it ! (: and now my hair is getting thicker but i love it, if you have thick hair i would defo advise you to have it thinned out,

of course it would be thick again .

they'll use a scissor that has those zipper outlines on the sides and well ...thin your hair out:)

Whether or not or how fats your hair becomes thick again , it depends on your hair growth rate

This depends on how it looks in you. For me, as long because it's not past your shoulders then it would be ok but We prefer anything that doesn't go past the ears.
