How hard is it to get into Duke University?

I've looked at Duke's and I really like it. I go to a tougher private high school and do fairly well. But do I need all A+'s to get in?

    No you don't,

    And Duke likes extracurriculer a lot so just have an impressive record of those.

    And Duke is not a breeze so don't expect to get in without having a very rigorous high school curriculum. Someone who took 28 AP classes in High School with 4.1 GPA'll beat the guy who only took 15 AP and got a 4.5.

    Probably.

    Also do volunteering, and extra-curriculars, and join groups. Get along with your teachers, so that they will write you recommendations. Sometimes just having straight A's isn't enough to get you into a excellent college.
