Were/Are you a Bridezilla or do you know a Bridezilla?
I think I am bit of one, but no one will tell me if I am one. I know my sister was a major Bridezilla although we got her to admit it, my best friend will never admit she was one lol. What about you, or did you know a Bridezilla?

I was a very relaxed, easy going bride!
So much so, that the shop attendants at the fabric shop where I was taking dressmaking lessons to make my wedding dress commented on it! They couldnt believe I was so relaxed!
My dressmaking tutor was stressing over running out of time to get the dress finished before the wedding. I figured... if she is stressing, then I don't have to... LOL! I just kept sewing!
The day before the wedding...
the last stitches went into the gown... then I had to print up the minister's program sheet in full; fix a friend's blouse; decorate and deliver the cake; visit the garden for a practice run and do the flowers... I got to bed after midnight that night!
Thing was, I had a 9 week engagement and was doing all the organization and preparations by myself. I couldnt afford to get stressed.
But the biggest reason was; I was having SO much FUN creating!
Creating the cake, the dress, the wedding stationary, the flowers. I totally loved it!
I was at a bit of a loss once the wedding was over!!
A sanity saving attitude I took was; the job was big, I was one person. I'd do what I could and what never got done... well it didnt get done... and I wasnt going to stress over it!
Of all the things I had to do, only two things didnt get done... the little bridal bag wasnt finished and I didnt get to pack my going away bag... Well, the bridal bag wasnt needed...
And having not packed the going away bag was a source of laughter at what did come out of the bag that was thrown together! The thing most needed... my hiking boots... were missing, but 3 or more of other things were there; something else was missing and I ended up wearing home my wedding stockings and boots with jeans and long sleeved shirt, as there wasn't a useful full set of clothing packed!
All good fun!
LOL!

sure, I easily have worked below quite a few bridezillas. i think of my sister wore the identify with satisfaction at her wedding ceremony final year. i became not a bridezilla, not my element to call for perfection and turn out over minor information. My wedding ceremony became not the progression of the century, I understood that and acted in this occasion.

Nope I've never been a bridezilla. But I've been in one of my cousins weddings, where she was a total *****zilla. I've been in 16 weddings since then. I tell the bride and groom. you act like my cousin did I'm out of here. I haven't had any problems since.

Truth be told good for you if you are one. I have not been one at all and it is killing me. I am trying to make this experience enjoyable for all envolved so I let my mom pick the date, I let all my girls pick there own dresses and I am having to register for things I don't need.
I SAY GO BE A BRIDEZILLA ALL YOU WANT !!!

Well I am trying not to be, but I have a panic disorder and I can't let go of things. I need to be in control and I damn near have panic attacks if i'm not. I'm on medication though.
Will I be like those crazy selfish brides on the TV show? Hell no! That's TV! They are acting for the camera.
I am a very meticulous person and ontop of a panic disorder I have OCD so I think I could see myself having small meltdowns over details. However, I have never in my life taken anything out on anyone. I control my emotions because if I let them run, it leads to panic attacks.
I have to learn (am learning) that I can't be in control of everything and nothing will ever be 100% perfect. That doesn't mean I can't try for 99%! ha ha ha! Good luck and congrats!
