Xbox 360, Xbox pro, or Xbox elite? Is there real benefits to eithor?

I am looking at getting some form of a XBOX 360... however, I am on a limited budget. Officially if I sacrificed some stuff, I could afford eithor or though. However, I really don't need the benefits of the elite. So I have a question, I know there was alot of technical problems with the Xbox 360. I can get a 2 year warrenty on it though for 30 bucks. So I want a non-sales person oppinion if it is really worth it to spend the extra money. Thanks for all your help!

it depends on what you want the 360 for?

i would reccomend the arcade if you are not gonna be on xbox 360 alot and u just want it for like guest and visitors and for ur own laid back time.

if you are a casual gamer and you like to compete and play alot of games i would suggest the pro becuase you can have 60gb of space for game saves music videos and even pics.

i would go with the elite if i was a really hardcore gamer with a lot of games you want to download to your hard drive and demo if you want to try out the game first and you have a hd tv to get the full hdmi experience.

Source(s): my self as i own all of the xbox 360 bundles

Alright To Start Off. the Xbox Elite, Arcade, and Pro are all the Same internally. the entire setup is exactly the same. The Elite can break just as the other 2 do. The only Difference Between them That really matters is There Hard drive. The Arcade has a Built in 512Mb memory Storage. But no Actual hard drive. So If Your looking to Buy Xbox Live. Or Download and buy Addons for games Ex. Map Packs (Call of Duty, Halo, Rainbow 6, Gears of War.) Or Expansions (Fallout 3, Oblivion, Fable 2)

You will Deffinatly need an Xbox Pro or Elite. The Pro has More than enough memory. for Any Gaming need tho. The Elite. is a waste of your money. Its more or less for buying about 60 extra gigs of memory. and the black case. which isnt needed. Unless you have a "I Must have a Black Xbox 360 Fetish. (Pro has 60 gigs. Elite Has 120gigs.)

I have a Pro. I have about 30 add ons to my games and Its not even close to running out of memory. So i would Recommend it.

Also. The Arcade Does not come with an Hdmi Cable. So if you plan on using a High Def Tv. Its not gonna have high def quality. just Standard.

You could Purchase a Hard drive For the Arcade Afterwards. But they Cost almost half of an xbox to begin with. So its Not really worth it.

So. For Cost and Usability The Pro is Deffinatly The Way to go. Cause its the Best of Both Words. Not Too much memory to waste your money. But Enough to let you freely do anything without worrying about running out. (:

    Hope this helps.

i might ask the broker how previous the pro is and purchase the greater contemporary of the two. The synthetic date is on the returned of the console. there are lots of 360s on the industry on there that are just some months previous. additionally, you would be able to desire to ask the two if the consoles are modded. lots of individuals have been banned from Xbox stay for having modded 360s. All of those 360s at the instant are shooting up on eBay and the sellers and leaving out the actual undeniable fact that that's modded.
