Dream interpretation? (wolves)?

so i had an interesting dream, with a lot of details. this dream is based in my back yard, which is in the grand forest of bainbridge island. anyway i was wondering if any of you might have interpretations of this dream, that i have named

Black Wolves

In my back yard it is night time. This is unusual for my dreams. I heard noises and used a tiny flashlight to see bits of movement in the dark. I saw a glimpse of a grey wolf face, and I calmly followed it into the dark. This is unusual because I don’t like the dark. I get the feel that the grey one was the alpha. I walked around to the upper field (through the gravel parking lot) and saw two black wolves and one grey running around in the dark, but I couldn’t really see them. Suddenly Zella, my dog, was at my side and I was worried she’d try to chase them so I put her on a leash that I found right at my feet. Another two wolves were there, one went towards the maple tree, the other went down the hill to the lower field. It seemed to be early morning now because there was a purple glow in the sky. I walked down the hill and saw a black wolf hiding in the grass. It didn’t seem to think I knew it was there even though I almost stepped on it. Looking back up the hill to the left, by the blackberries I saw three black puppies sleeping. Another black wolf ran up the hill past the hiding wolf. Somebody asked how many were there and I counted them, and said 10.

At no point in this dream did I feel fear; probably because they did not act aggressive. I mostly felt curiosity.

Wolves are wild, strong, and brave. They usually stand for the inner part of a woman that is well repressed because of her upbringing and cultural social education.

They are nocturnal creatures, i.e. they live in your dark depths. They were at you 'backyard' which is a symbol for your unconscious or the back of your mind.

You went there, in the dark, with a torch, to your back yard; you were in a journey of exploring your inner self. The sky was somehow purple and the dawn was coming, it seems like they are peeping at you from a close distance. It means that you become, somehow, aware of their existence in your unconscious. You are not afraid of them, this is another sign that you are willing to accept this part of you and merge it into your conscious ego.

The fact that they are ten, it means they are a pack of wolves, not a loner wolf for example. Maybe this foreshadows a social improvement in your personality; your inner wolves are going to take you by the hand and teach you how to assert yourself in society and makes relationships easily.

The puppies, and the leashed dog, could be a symbol for what you are now. You are restricted, docile and over-refined. They stands for the current state of your conscious ego.

This interpretation depends on how "I" think of your dream, not how you think of it. Try to make free association of ideas about the same items I mentioned: wolves, leashed dog, backyard, puppies, ten, dusk, flashlight... and maybe you can add more of the contents of your dream. After that, you can make a meaning out of what you got.

    Wolf:

Spirit or soul. Loyalty, fearlessness, or steadfastness. Dreaming of this animal can represent:

Having too much of one of these qualities, or that you could benefit by being less this way

Not having enough of one of these qualities, or that you could benefit by being more like this

Someone or something in your real life with whom you associate one of these qualities (an event, situation, threat, etc.)

For more clues, pay attention to what the animal was doing or any particular characteristic that stood out.

An aggressive wolf can represent a fear or perceived threat (perhaps an emotional threat) in your real life.

Maybe there's something in your life that your sort of sneaking around or admiring from a distance. The fact that you didn't feel fear probably means that the thing in life you're admiring isn't something to be afraid of and it's probably a positive thing- so I would say your mind thinks it's time to stop admiring and start going forward with it.
