What could be the problem with my desktop display?
Well, guess I am also having a problem in my start menu too. Just started a couple minutes ago too. Wasn't doing it when I first posted.
When I right-click on my desktop or any item on my desktop, the menu doesn't seem to show. It's actually kind of "invisible". All I can see is the very faintest part of the outline of the menu, but when I move the pointer up or down on the outline, the menu appears visible, and stays visible to some degree. I haven't changed any display settings or anything recently and it was all going well until today when I turned on my computer. Again, this is only happening on the desktop, not online or in my start menu items. Can someone please help? It's driving me crazy.

Try this:
-Exit all open programs
-Press ctrl+shft+esc - that brings up your task manager.
-select the 'processes' tab
-make sure you sort by 'image name' column by clicking once or twice on that header.
-scroll down and select 'explorer.exe' (click once)
-press 'end task' button on bottom right and confirm 'yes' to end task (don't be alarmed - your windows shell will close)
-Press ctrl+shift+esc again and select 'file', then select 'New Task…Run' and type 'explorer.exe' (single quotes excluded). That will restart the shell and should refresh your interface.
Good luck!
