How do I stop Firefox from saving URLs in the address bar?
Anytime I start to type a URL in the address bar in my firefox browser, a drop down list of previously visited sites comes up. Some are completely obscure that I went to once and have absolutely no interest in. This isn't really a problem just something I find extremely annoying. Instead of offering me craigslist.com it offers me a post on craistlist from 3 months ago. Any idea how to stop it saving these? Thanks.

you can clear them out in the Tools>Options menu. Under the "Privacy" tab, you can clear caches and uncheck the boxes so it won't remember anything for you.
