Red Frequency Helmet: Quality ski helmet?
http://www.backcountry.com/outdoorgear/Red-Frequen...
This same helmet is 150 dollars at my local ski store, so I'm guessing it's a pretty good helmet. The site gave it pretty good reviews, and it seemed to fit well when I was there.
But my question is will it perform well in several instances:
1) I'm going fairly big in the park this year and want to ensure protection.
2)I'm skiing Colorado this year and need to know that it will handle the cold and that its vent system does the job.
3)And overall, will it remain comfy for extended hours of skiing?

i wouldn't have a certain model set for what i want. Go to the ski store and try one a couple different helmets. Red, and giro are two really good brands there are some other ones but i can't think off right now, feel which ones are comfy and which one feel like they will keep you safe, as for enduring the cold, ski helmets are meant to take the cold but bring along a thin hat to see if you can fit if under, thats what i do, and i live in MN and it gets COLD.

Why don't you just get a Red Bull sticker and place it on your helmet. That's what Shane McConkey does.
