Mini-ATV carb problem(s)?
My girlfriends son has one of those cheapy 50cc Jackal ATV's. It started running terrible so I pulled the carb and it was pretty gunked up. I cleaned it thoroughly and it still is running extremely rich and the idle screw doesn't have any effect. So what I am thinking is that the idle circuit air supply passage is still clogged. However, when I pulled it off and cleaned it out, the engine is still running very rich. Anyone know how I can clean the passage better or have any other ideas about what is wrong? Oh, I adjusted the floats about every way possible to no avail...
oh it's a thumper too, not a 2-stroke
It has a manual choke....thanks for the answer

that has an electric choke?try cleaning out the passage and then maybe replacing the seal surface. maybe lower the fuel bowl a smidge.im guessing the electric choke isnt shutting down, either cause its siezed or the passage is gunked up.
