Zab Judah Passed up an Opportunity to fight Shane Mosley?

Even as late as Sunday, Zab Judah's name came up as a possible opponent when it is revealed that GBP CEO Richard Shaefer offered him a chance to face Mosley for half a million, 5% of PPV, and a 24/7 series. But Judah turned down the offer, thinking he is worth more than he really is as of now. Kinda pathetic if you ask me. He was given an opportunity to get his career back on track by fighting Mosley, but turns it down. Now its Mosley vs. Clottey, Judah vs. ???

BQ: What do you think of Judah turning down an offer to face "Sugar" Shane Mosley? What is next for Judah? I've been hearing rumors that he might go back to the undercard of Marquez-Mayweather to fight Antonio Diaz, not sure if its true. But what do you think is next for the "Supa" Judah?

I agree he thinks more of himself than he is seen by the insiders in boxing now. He needs to east some humble pie but probably wont....and pulling out of PPV under-cards wont help with promoters wanting to put him on cards in the future so he better get back on the Mayweather/ Marquez card...it will be great exposure and a chance to start a new (probably for the last time in his career). As far as fighting Mosley, that was smart to turn down. Mosley is one of the best pound for pound ...and after knocking out Margarito and Mayorga I am sure Shane would give Judah fits and make him look very bad...worse than he wants to look if he is trying to make a comeback.

YES! Judah did us all a favor by turning that fight down. Judah wouldn't stand a chance versus Mosley. I am much more interested in Mosley vs Clottey. Clottey is the fighter who deserves the fight the most.

Judah needs a win against a name opponent to remain on the fringes of World Championship Boxing. Boxing Mosley would not be a good career move. Not at this stage anyway. Like they said - Malignaggi is probably the right opponent from his and his training camps perspective.

Ya. That is very pathetic of Judah. He gets such a big opportunity to redeem himself after what has happened the last few years. He is no longer a champion, he wasn't as attractive of a PPV attraction as he used to be, yet he thinks he is worth more than what was offered.

I do agree that he will most likely lose to Mosley, but if he looks good against one of the best like Mosley, his stock will surely rise, leading to extra opportunities in the future. What Judah needed was a chance, it was given right in front of him, yet he did something he may regret in the future.

I won't suggest a move for him, for he will surely ignore such great proposals....

Personally I think that was a smart move by Judah. Why fight Mosley who could beat him really bad and drop his stock even lower? Judah should fight Malignaggi.

i think it was a smart move, hes probably better off not fighting Mosley, it could be his last.I like Judah but i dont think he is still a top fighter.

Shane Mosley in remarkable fashin. even nevertheless Shane did lose his final combat to Cotto, he did coach that he remains a rigidity in boxing. He nonetheless confirmed that his legs are stable, his stamina his stable, and his palms are nonetheless stable. Zab Judah has gave the impression of a B-checklist fighter, courting each and every of how bakk to Mayweather. in this experience of warring parties that lost to Cotto, i think of Sugar Shane handles this combat impressively, setting up one final massive payday. possibly a rematch with Cotto, a circulate at money might, or yet another circulate with DLH. Even B-Hop. Winky Wright could be in all hazard.
