TEENS: Why does it seem that when...?

I haven't noticed that at all. Everyone I know has no problem with Harry Potter and gets nauseous anytime Twilight is mentioned.

IMO Harry Potter might be nerdy...but at least it doesn't suck! I think that's why no one bothers much with Twilight...because with HP many people besides kids like it. Many adults love it(umm like me and all my friends) ...but I don't know many adults who actually like Twilight. Its seen as a strictly kid thing, just another current trend teenage girls are crazy over just like a boy band or new hair product.

I find it absurd that someone automatically assumes that because somebody likes something that the person is an unpopular shut-in. Personally, I like Harry Potter somewhat (I'm not an obsessed fan, if you buy me a book, I'll read it ^_^, but I won't stand in line for hours to read it), and I don't think I'll ever begrip the appeal of Twilight. Alas, that's just me. I'll admit that I am actually a bit of a geek and a nerd (this is by my own admission), I enjoy researching and learning for fun, I pepper my e-mails and Yahoo! Answers posts with anime smilies (^_^, I like how cute they are ^_^), and I use sundry words all the time that are quite uncommon. I promise that I am not aiming to be ostentatious or pedantic, but I am erudite and proud of it (although I have been publicly admonished on here for my vocabulary by others). I also enjoy video games, some anime, a lot of traditional cartoons, and I also seek to have perfect grades at all times. But, although I am a bit of a geek and a nerd, I do have some people that like me quite a lot outside of family, such as my boyfriend. ^_^

Because only STUPID people think Harry Potter is nerdy..

Since 75% of people are pretty darn stupid, that's all you notice.

The stupid people don't give Twilight a second glance.

Im not sure. I read both and have no labels...(that i know of) Twilight is for the older ages and its about Love and HP is more for middle school.

Oh trust me. People look at Twilight readers with that exact same look.

because twilight is more popular right now...

dont worry, soon it will become unpopular and they will be seen as nerds too...
