It sounds like one of the windows updates may have caused this. Go look at your Windows Update history and see what loaded on the date just before your system started crashing. Ex: if your Word worked fine thru Sep 2, then look and see what loaded ON that date (or ON Sep 3). Remove that particular update, check Word for functionality.

If nothing has loaded in windows update that you can see, then the question becomes: have you loaded anything recently? Any new hardware? Any new sofware? If so, that particular hardware/software is likely interfering somehow. Uninstall that particular item, check your Word for proper functionality, and if it's working then you've identified your source.

The user who told you to use System Restore point is offering very good advice. But don't do that until you have tried to locate the culprit (as I've identified for you in above paragraphs). If you cannot locate what is causing your issue, system restore is an excellent option.

My Microsoft Office was also not responding (crashes), I tried a lot to fix that but unable to fix. At last I got this linkhttp://microsoft-office.customer-supports.com/ I just visited and made a call on their toll free. I got instant help from a certified technician to fix my MS Office problem.

have you done any updates recently? If you have try doing a system restore to before this date. If that doesn't do it, can you reinstall Office 2007? Make sure you uninstall before reinstalling. If you haven't done any updates, perhaps check online for any updates and then see if it keeps crashing. If it does, try the reinstall.
