I created an Excel file to track the percentage of the number of participants scheduled as opposed to those who actually appeared. One column contains the formula. Obviously, the figures for April, May, June have not been entered, but the formula displays in the percentage column. Without having to go through the rigamarole of protection, locking, etc. - is there a less complicated way to have the percentage appear empty - but have the percentage display when later figures are entered. I will be grateful for any help on this. I've searched a couple of books but have not found a spelled-out description. Thank you.

For a week, I've been receiving 30-50 e-mails a day, regarding the same answer, advising me that it was chosen as best. Norton shows no virus. How to stop these e-mails? How do I contact Yahoo help for this?

This is my friend's machine which is a little different than mine. It is in "like new" condition, clean, seemed oiled, but when I stepped on the foot pedal or hand-turned the wheel, it just won't go forward to sew. Any suggestions out there?

For years have been using generic inks. This almost-new printer will not accept - power light flashes - ink-out light is on. Have removed cartridges and unplugged in order to reset. Still won't work. Supposed to call a not-toll-free number for a return authorization. Anyone else have this problem?

I've got this darn ringing in my ears. Sounds like the ring you hear after firecrackers or if someone dropped something. Problem is, it is ongoing. Most annoying. I do have bad sinuses. Right side operates at about 50%. It's in the family so there's no getting away from it. I use nasal saline spray but it doesn't help. I clean my ears with a Q-tip dipped in peroxide, but nothing helps. Any suggestions gratefully received.

Have had seborrhic eczema a couple times with itching and hair loss. Disappeared in about 3 weeks with tar shampoos, for several years, then returned. Now, just have the itching. Am seeing a dermatologist. Have used prescription shampoos for scalp fungus and/or bacteria. Have been using tar shampoos alternately with gentle, hypoallergenic shampoos. Have run out of ideas. Any ideas? Will be grateful for help.

I have an old DOS program (Print Shop Deluxe) which I kept on hand for use of the graphics. I tried to export them to another program and messed up big time. When I click on the program it scrolls endlessly. How can I uninstall then reinstall it? Any help appreciated.

I need to have 3 tables on a page. A few columns have text in vertical direction. When I try to split the column, so I can underline one half of it, the page expands wildly and I can't get it back to normal view. I have to close and reopen, hoping I have at least what I started with. I realize tables are movable and have set wrap to none. Can anyone help?

I'm trying to import names and e-mail addresses from an Excel file into Contacts. I did get the "contacts" structure and copy/paste the info into appropriate columns, but it asks for a "range."
