cheapbooks.com will search for the cheapest all over the internet, its usually easier if you have the ISBN number

It will usually give you abebooks.com, I don't recommend buying from that site as most of the sellers will give you international editions and claim they are same word for word, but the problem sets are completely different. Bookbyte and Textbooksrus is good. Textbooks.com along with Upromise can get you 3% back although it is costly, they do have a 50% buyback guarantee on some books though.

There is no best website that is cheapest for all books. Usually one will be cheaper for one book and another for a different book that you need. You need to price shop with your book list in mind. Don't forget to take into account any shipping costs. A fast way to price shop is to use bigwords.com or another price comparison tool. I've attached an article that outlines other steps that you can take to make sure that you save as much money on your textbooks as is possible. Good luck.

I use http://www.bigwords.com/ They are a textbook search engine that searches all the online textbook retailers (including amazon, half, ebay etc) and rental sites (including chegg, bookrenter etc) to find you the best prices. You can even use them at the end of the semester to search for resellers to sell your books to.

Have you checked the price on Amazon? I bought all my textbooks there every year, including both used and new textbooks. I like to buy from there because it often offers good discounts and it is a well-known trustworthy site (I've heard too many classmates being scammed). I suggest you to look for your books early or there will be less and less used books to choose from:

For new books, make sure you get their free shipping offer too:

    Hope it helps :)

If you don't mind downloading books to your computer or palm and reading them, i'd think of many free sites where u can download millions of books for free.
