Does these verses contradict? Act 1:24 Deut. 8:2?

For me it is not, God given us freewill to choose Deut.30:19, If things enter to our heart bad or good that is the only time God knew your heart. As what happen to Lucifer he was an angel right ? but bec.of his obsession to be equal with God he was thrown out. Isa. 14:12~14 I hope for your biblical reason why are those contradict?

...they have nothing to do with each other, all four scriptures you listed deal with different issues

Well, I guess that I can see why someone might think they contradict

    http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=act%20...

That is: the *assumption* that in Deuteronomy, God does not know their hearts without putting them to a test, but that in Acts, God does.

What the claim of contradiction requires, though, is another assumption: the assumption that God tested them in Deuteronomy so that *God* would know their hearts. That is not necessarily what the passage tells us. We can reasonably interpret this to mean that God tested the Jews so that *they* (the Jews) would know what was in their own hearts.
