Paypal Seller Protection Question - APO Address?
I've gotten an offer on eBay for an item but he wants to know if I can ship to his "APO" address.
I do not care as long as I am under the seller protection in case he files a claim for his money back or something.
It's for $450 too, so I don't want to take any chances of possibly getting screwed over.

APO doesn't cost any more than any other shipping inside the US. It's an army address. I've dealt with many APO/FPO addresses and they've all been great transactions. It is still within US, but you do have to fill out a Claims form. You are still protected. Does his address match his confirmed address? If not, make him put the address he wants it shipped to under "note to seller" when he pays. Also, I'd ship it priority mail, because the regular parcel post takes forever to get to FPO/APO. If you are hesitant about it, make the buyer buy insurance for the item and use delivery confirmation. If you use a flat rate box, you can buy the postage from PayPal and delivery confirmation is free. Good luck!
Remember: do all your messaging through ebay and keep your messages. :)

Explain to her that an unconfirmed paypal address means that she is not elligible for paypals seller protection. If you pay by postal order or bankers draft, she is also not covered by paypals seller protection... so there is no benefit to requesting another form of payment. DO not send her money unless she has refunded you. Ask her who in their right minds would pay twice for an item. Tell her to refund your payment, and then re-send invoice, you can then pay again and the address will show up as confirmed. If she wants to actually sell the item she HAS to do this. Otherwise you are within your rights to open a dispute with her (Item not received) and remember, you are in possession of a receipt from ebay so any dispute she may raise against you will be quoshed when you provide proff of payment to ebay. try to reason with her before it gets out of hand, and be nice as it can get you further
