Do you think that if these players started their MLB career's earlier, they would have beaten these records?
Ichiro Suzuki- 1,999 career hits in 9 seasons (35 years old)
Ryan Howard- 214 career home runs in 5 seasons (29 years old)
Joe Nathan- 235 career saves in last 6 seasons (34 years old)
If you can think of any other records that might have been broken if a player would've started his career earlier, feel free to mention it.

All of them could have broken record. If Nathan had that pace for 18 seasons, he would have over 700 saves. So, even if he had some off years, he still probably would have broken the record.
If Howard had kept that pace for 20 seasons, he would have over 850 homers. Again, even if he had some off years, he would have the record.
And, Ichiro. He he kept that pace up for 22 or 23 seasons, he would have 5,000 hits. Amazing.
So, if all players started their career in their early 20's, they would probably all have records.
Also, Babe Ruth. If he didn't start his career as a pitcher, he would easily be the home run kinng.

Ichiro No doubt, I still think if he plays late in his career he still has a chance.
Ryan Howard, Oh yes, fastest to reach 200, if he started younger, he could have made a chance to be the fastest and youngest to reach 500 and then make it to the Homerun champ position.
Joe Nathan, Of course, even if he did start for the Giants, if he was younger starting, he would have became a closer still younger in his life, and have a good shot.
Randy Johnson maybe, if he could have started at 18, he could have had a good chance at Nolan Ryans mark.

Ichiro - Most definitely. He had over 1200 hits in 9 seasons with Japan, and 2 of those seasons he didn't play much
Howard - I think he still has a shot if he plays into his 40's and can still hit
Nathan - Yup. If it took Hoffman 16 season to establish his mark, I'm sure Nathan could've gotten it by now if he started when he was 20
