  • Which one of these is the biggest WTF in the NFL this year?

    1. Brandon Jacobs now thinking he is an east to west runner?

    - This man is 6'4" and 264 pounds and he runs sidewise more than Chris Johnson who runs a 4.2 40. He is bigger than pretty much everyone on an NFL defense besides the lineman.

    2. The Oakland Raiders draft Darren McFadden 4th overall in 2008 and give more carries and attention to Michael Bush (4th round pick) and Justin Fargas (3rd round pick)?

-Maybe right now, McFadden isn't doing what he's supposed to and he has been hurt, but he has only 63 carries this season. I understand it's the Raiders and they have no idea what they are doing, but if you are willing to give Russell so much time to become something, why not Darren McFadden?

    3. Is it just me, or have all of the Thursday Night Football games on the NFL Network been just boring to watch?

    - Game 1: Bears vs 49ers. The Bears lose 6-10 in a game where 6 INT's are thrown, 5 by one QB.

Game 2: Dolphins vs Panthers. The Dolphins win arguably the most exciting of the games by the score 24-17. The only reason it was worth watching was to see Ricky Williams start again.

Game 3: Giants vs Broncos. Broncos just destroy the Giants by 20 points because the Giants offense can't seem to get going.

Game 4: Jets vs Bills. Probably the 2nd most boring of the 4 games so far. The QB's combine for 17-40, 153 yards, 1 TD, and 1 INT. The Jets run for more yards than the Bills offense had total.

I'm not asking for the game of the week, but something that might actually keep my interest.

    4. Julius Jones has 107 carries on the year for 392 yards and 2 TDs, Justin Forsett has 67 carries for 385 yards and 4 TDs, yet Seattle's coach, Jim Mora, is still going to keep Jones as the starting running back. WTF?

    - I know Forsett is not as experienced as Jones but I don't even see why he believes Jones still deserves the job. I mean, it's a difference between a 3.7 yards per carry to a 5.7 yards per carry, who would you rather start?

  • Wow, I can't believe what happened in my fantasy this week?

I was down 92-90 with only my defense left which was the Cardinals. The last play of the game for the Cardinals-Seahawks game was a interception by Adrian Wilson for Arizona. This put me up to 92-92 which should be a tie. I just looked at the scoreboard again and it dropped me back to 92-90, so instead of getting the tie and staying in 1st place, I get the loss and am now tied for 1st.

What would you do if this happened to you? Does anyone else think this is bull?

  • What is the most ridiculous part about going out to eat dinner at a restaurant?

    A) The appetizers that can cost as much as your entree?

    B) Paying $15+ on a 6 ounce piece of meat that costs about $5?

    C) Reading the description of a meal thinking it will be large and feel you up, then you get it and it would be considered a little bit bigger than a snack?

    D) If you want to get dessert, you have to spend anywhere from $5.50-$10 to get a sliver of cake or pie or whatever you want?

    E) Feeling like you have to tip even if the waiter/waitress was absolutely horrible?

  • Is Barry Sanders the greatest running back of all-time?

I know he is not the all-time leading rusher but if you look at the numbers and situations, I think it is hard to argue against it.

    1. Emmitt Smith - 15 career seasons, 18,335 yards

    2. Walter Payton - 13 career seasons, 16,726 yards

    3. Barry Sanders - 10 career seasons, 15, 269 yards

    8. James Brown - 9 career seasons, 12,312 yards

I only included the stats from these 4 because they are usually the ones talked about as the best ever.

I'm not just saying Barry Sanders because he is my favorite player all time but of the situations he had to run in. Its hard to be a great rusher when you don't have a passing game to help out. The quarterbacks for the Cowboys, Bears, Browns, and Lions show a big difference. Emmitt Smith spent the majority of his career with Hall of Famer Troy Aikman. Walter Payton had it a little bit tougher than Smith with quarterbacks including: Mike Phipps, Vince Evans, Bob Avellini, and Jim McMahon. Jim Brown's quarterbacks included: Tommy O' Connell, Jim Ninowski, and Len Dawson. And then there are the quarterbacks Barry Sanders played with. These include: Rodney Peete, Bob Gagliano, Eric Hipple, Erik Kramer, Andre Ware, Scott Mitchell, Dave Krieg, Don Majkowski, Charlie Batch, and Frank Reich.

So with all of this information, who do you think is the greatesst running back of all time?

  • Are the Yankees fans the least respected fans in all of baseball, even all of sports?

Going into the ALCS, all the "Yankees fans" on here talk about how the Yankees are going to just run away with the series and eventually the World Series. None of the other teams fans seem to be making this claims.

I'm sorry to real Yankees fans but I'm almost getting tired of looking at some of the questions in the Baseball Section anymore.

  • If Felix Hernandez wins his next 2 starts and Greinke wins his next start, who do you think will win...?

    the Cy Young Award?

If this happens, Hernandez will be 19-5 with an ERA in the mid 2's, Greinke will be 17-8 with an ERA around 2 possibly even 1.9's.

I know that CC Sabathia and Justin Verlander are in the running, but I think the Award is between the two of them, so if it does play out this way, who do you think will win?

  • Everyone asks who's the best from your team, but I want to know who is the worst.....?

Pitcher and position player from your favorite team?

Please don't say a guy thats pitcher 2 innings and gave up a lot of runs or who only has 30 at-bats with a bad average, I want to know who has been pretty bad all season long for your team.

  • If your favorite team were to get a new stadium, what would you want it to have and ...?

What would you like it to look like?

I mean would you like a retractable roof or a place for little kids to play or new dimensions in the outfield or what?

Be reasonable too with your answers.

  • Do you think that if these players started their MLB career's earlier, they would have beaten these records?

Ichiro Suzuki- 1,999 career hits in 9 seasons (35 years old)

Ryan Howard- 214 career home runs in 5 seasons (29 years old)

Joe Nathan- 235 career saves in last 6 seasons (34 years old)

If you can think of any other records that might have been broken if a player would've started his career earlier, feel free to mention it.

  • Who do you think is the best pitcher to have never won a Cy Young Award all-time (BQ inside)?

BQ: Who do you think is the greatest position player to have never won an MVP award all-time?

  • Do you think you would respect long time records less if they were broken by a lesser known player?

Say Joe Dimaggio's 56 game hitting streak back in 1941 was suddenly beaten by a player like Yorvit Torrealba for the Rockies. I'm not saying its going to happen, its just Torrealba has an 11 game hitting streak and he's the first person I thought of.

Do you think you would start to think the record wasn't as special as it once was?

And I'm talking about all long held records, like: pitching wins in a season, season ERA, RBIs in a season, batting average in a season, etc.

  • I can't believe what I just saw (BQ inside)?

A 12 year old Little Leaguer just hit a home run. That's not a big deal right, but what he did when he hit it is. He actually "pimped" his home run. I know this is supposed to be fun but its Little League, this kid should not be doing this.

I know the league is about sportsmanship and whatnot, but I know if I was the pitcher, I'd be throwing at the kid the next at-bat.

Who else thinks 12 is way too young to be doing something like that?

BQ: Who is your teams leader in home runs and who's the leader in batting average?

  • If your favorite player retired today, do you think you would find a new favorite or would it never change?

For me, I'm not really sure, it will be tough to not have Griffey playing anymore. I mean, I have other players I like a lot, but I don't think it will be anything like Ken Griffey Jr.

  • I saw this question on ESPN and thought it was intriguing. How many people can name 5 or more Colorado Rockies?

    And who are they?

The original question was just 3 Colorado Rockies but I thought I would up it a bit. It just kind of shows how they have snuck up on everyone this year.

BQ: How many Washington Nationals, Pittsburgh Pirates, and Oakland Athletics players can you name?
