-I'm hoping within the next 5 years.

    1. How is your favorite team doing this season?

-A huge improvement. They have already matched last year's win total, but still going to miss the playoffs.

    2. If they are struggling, what is the one thing you think they should do to turn it around? If they aren't struggling, do you think they will keep it up?

-I think they have the pieces in place to continue playing well. A power bat is desperately needed.

    3. When do you think your team will win the World Series?

-I've been waiting for 32 years...hopefully only four or five more to wait.

    4. Do you like watching MLB games or playing in your own baseball/softball games more?

-I used to like playing more, but I'm getting a bit old so watching from the comfort of my couch has gained in appeal.

    5. If you couldn't like your favorite team anymore, who do you think you would like next?

-Reds. Before the M's joined the league, the Big Red Machine was my favourite team.

    6. Do you think there should be a salary cap in baseball?

-Absolutely not. It hasn't really helped any league that has it other than to make sure the owners make more money. Detroit is still the powerhouse in the NHL; Lakers and Celtics in the NBA, NFL scheduling creates more parity than the salary cap...what baseball needs is a salary floor for teams like KC and Pittsburgh are forced to spend a minimum and field a MLB-caliber team.

    7. What moment in your team's history stands out the most in your mind?

-Game 1995 ALDS. Edgar doubles into the corner, Griffey races home from first with winning run, M's come back from 2-0 deficit to win the ALDS over the Yankees.

    8. World Series Game 7, 2 outs bottom of the 9th, your team is down by 1, who do you want (from your team) up to bat?

    -Edgar Martinez.

    1. They were doing good, but struggling a bit right now :/

    2. They need to get their starting pitching in order, Wake and Dice-k need to get healthy and come back. The offense also has to wake up!

    3. I think they still have a chance this year, but if not, hopefully again within the next few years.

    4. I'm not on a softball team, although I would like to be, so for now, I'll just settle with watching, which I still love.

    5. Probably the Cardinals.

    6. Not sure, although it would make it a lot more fair and interesting.

    7. World series win in '04, after so long.

    8. Before, Big Papi (not so much anymore), now, Youk, Bay, or V-Mart.

    1. Alright, they were doing better earlier this season

    2. The Red Sox need to score some runs, that's been there problem this year. They are also extremely inconsistent

    3. Hopefully this year! I never give up hope on them, real fans never stop believing in their teams

    4. I like watching better. I used to play softball, but quit last year because I wasn't enjoying it as much as I used to

    5. Maybe the Phillies, they are my favorite team in the NL

    6. No. Out of all the issues that the MLB has, I don't think having or not having a salary cap should be one.

    7. Winning the 2004 World Series. They finally broke the curse

    8. Hmmmm..... normally I would say the greatest clutch hitter in Red Sox history (David Ortiz), but I'm going to go with Youkilis.
