Are the Yankees fans the least respected fans in all of baseball, even all of sports?

Dallas Cowboys fans are REALLy annoying.

I am a lifelong yankee fan, and in no way do i expect the yankees to "walk away with it". The angels are a great team, and i expect it to be a very tough series. I hope the yankees win, as i always do, but anyone who thinks it will be easy for the yankees is obviously a fairweather fan who knows nothing about the sport. I get annoyed myself when i read some of the idiotic statements some of the so-called "fans" make. I think most of them should shut up and spend some time educating themselves about the game they claim to love. I try not to disrepect any fan of any team and would like the same courtesy in return, (although this guy "jandy" sort of irritates me with some of his inane gibberish).

i'm a purple Sox fan and that i might say my widespread hitter on the Yankees is Derek Jeter. He and Mariano Rivera are the only Yankees i like. I admire Alex Rodriguez the least. i think of his finished mindset sucks. I even have on no account have particularly been prepared on his in the 1st place. Even earlier he became with the Yankees.

I've actually encountered many intelligent Yankees fans over the years; I've gone to games at Yankee Stadium in an opposing team's jersey, and was treated respectable. It's the fans on the other side of town who are the most disrespectable fans in baseball -- the New York Mets fans. Not all Mets fans; but a good portion of them.

If you disrespect an entire fan base, then you just have no class.

I'm a Yankee fan, but I have more respect for a lifelong Red Sox fan than somebody that stopped rooting for the Yankees in 2004 and started again this summer.

I don't make judgements about an entire fan base.

I don't judge ALL Yankee fans by the really obnoxious ones any more than I'd want people to judge all Sox fans by Jandy. There are plenty of them that don't fit the stereotype.

With that being said there always are a lot of really obnoxious ones out and about, especially when the Yankees have a good team and are winning.

Just hope for the Yankees to lose. That will shut up the idiotic ones quick :)

I respect the teams in their respective sports, but come on fans. Act like adults.

me too, sick of seeing obnoxious Yankee fans. it doesn't surprise me that there are Yankee fans everywhere Ive been. Many are bandwagon fans under the age of 30. Those over 30 have followed the Yanks most of their lives. But overall the under 30 crowd are so obnoxious they rival Dallas Cowboy fans. They are both so arrogant and disrespect fans from other teams. I cant stand them either and have a real hatred for a franchise that have bought their way to the world series over the last 25 yrs.

Least respected... Let's take a look.

How can you be a fan of an organization that simply spends more money than anyone else to build their team? I would be bored stiff if I had to an all star team every year and tried to gloat about it to other teams. What a joke for baseball in general. Even out the odds commish... Go Halos!

I know, Igspt, It's like, "How can you respect a team that is caught videotaping the opposing teams play calls?" Seriously, those teams that cheat like that, get fined for it, and won 3 Super Bowls because of it, really don't deserve respect. Right?

Yes. They have always been cocky, thats why they have lost to teams like the Marlins in the world series. Its also why Boston came back in the 2004 ALCS down 3 games to 0.
