Ubaldo Jimenez is awesome he always seems to be underrated :/

On the Angels.... that's a tough question because i feel like a lot of our guys deserve some more love lol

Pitcher: Darren Oliver, our lone lefty in the pen has been consistant since the day we got him. He's been around kinda like the old man of the club lol but just as important! Love him ;)

Position player (can i please put more than one? :D)

Erick Aybar: brilliant range and hitting like NO other. Potential all star and GG winner

Maicer Izturis: MR. CLUTCH! He's been there every day for the angels and they certainly wouldn't be where they are without him.

Kendry Morales: When Mark Teixeira went to the Yanks, baseball nation was left wondering who could possibly replace such a player. Kendry did!! hoolllaahh~

    For the White Sox........

Pitcher: D.J. Carrasco - He is only a middle reliever but whenever someone has to be taken out early, he always comes in and backs up the starter well. He is 4-1 with an ERA of 3.70. However, he has had to make a couple of starts in which he struggled, so that contributed in moving his ERA up. But in middle relief, he has been dead reliable.

Position player: Scott Podsednik - He rejoined the White Sox in May, and no one expected much from him after being unsuccessful in Colorado. But he starts in the outfield daily and he is hitting .296 in the leadoff position. Also, he has great speed so when he's on base, he's dangerous.

  • For the Giants:

Pitcher: Barry Zito gets a bad rap because he's overpaid, but his numbers would look a whole lot better if he didn't get the lowest run support in baseball from the Giants. He's been throwing much better since the All-Star Break, too.

Position: Nate Schierholtz in RF. He's a triples machine and he has an absolute cannon for an arm, but Bruce Bochy has this ridiculous sense of loyalty to our underachieving veterans, so Nate gets to warm the bench while Randy Winn bats .262 and Fred Lewis struggles to catch routine fly balls.

I have to agree with Charlie W.

Jason Kubel is a fantastic hitter having an incredible year, but no one outside of Twins fans [and possibly Angels fans] know about Kubel.

Before Kevin Slowey had to have season ending surgery, he was one of the best pitchers in the AL, record-wise. His pitching style is similar to a Brad Radke or Greg Maddux style. He's not overpowering, but his control is spot on.

    For the Giants

Position Player: Pablo Sandoval great hitter starting to get some press which he deserves should have made the all-star team

Pitcher: Matt Cain- has always been good but with little run support. he is finally getting a little press and made the all-star team this year but did not play because he was hit with a comebacker on the elbow
