LMAO, you need sparknotes for that? I searched online and I don't believe there is. I'm not even sure if they made sparknotes for that book.

In 1983 the Colorado Rockies, formally the Kansas City Scouts Moved to NJ. The big field refers to the triangle on the map that those 3 points equal if drawn out on that map. Clyde Roxbury was an equipment manager who worked for all 3 teams during the relocation and "The Big Field" is his story. The story is of a young boy out of prep school who can not play the game personally but spends 3 decades traveling with the teams and sport he loves.
