Polygon question... not basic for this challenged non-mathematician?

I want to build a planter around a tree in my yard. I need approximately 7 feet diameter overall. IF I was to use a 10-sided polygon; how long would each side be and what angle should I cut on each end of each segment?

I am guessing 18 degrees on each end but... probably wrong to begin with... I am more the creative type than the Math type... all help is very much appreciated. Thanks

Yes 18 degree ends is O.K. The length of each part should be 26 inches. With 10 pieces that should give close to 7 feet diameter.

If you're using a decagon (10 sides), each angle will be 144°.

The sides will measure 2.163 ft.
