Winding sound during turning on my 05 Taurus?
When I turn the steering wheel there is a new winding sound that has appeared. It happens when i turn the steering wheel as well as driving normally..more-so when I turn the wheel.

take turkey baster and suck the power steering fluid out of the pump reservoir/ engine off/ put one bottle of lucas power steering conditioner in it and that will take care of it

Go have a mechanic test drive it. Winding sound does not compute.

check the power sterring fluid. all fords wine a little.
