    Because there is far more discrepancy between the low class and upper classes in those states.

    People in those states are so focus on racist hatred, they allow themselves to be use by the Republicans. Instead of trying to find a job so they can feed their own families, they spend their time protesting about taxes they don't pay.

    Talk about biting the hand that feed them, while the Blue State take up slack of paying for their families meals, white racist extremist from these states, protest for the wealthy not to pay taxes

    The Food Research and Action Center (FRAC) announced:

    a. food insecurity rates in the United States increased in 2007

    b. In 2000, 33.2 million struggle against hungry

    c. In 2006 35.5 struggle against hunger

    d. In 2007 More than 36.2 million people lived in households struggling against hunger

    e. In 2007, there were nearly three million more Americans in food insecure households than when President Bush was elected. Since 2000, the worst off households has increase 40% from 8.5 million to 11.9 million

    According to the USDA report:

    The ten states with the highest food insecurity rates in the 2005-2008:

    a. Mississippi 17.4%

    b. New Mexico 15%

    c. Texas 14.8%

    d. Arkansas 14.4%

    e. Maine 13.3%

    f. South Carolina 13.1%

    g. Georgia 13%

    h. Kansas 13%

    i. Oklahoma 13%

    j. Missouri 12.9%

    Nebraska's Medicaid, Food Stamp Ranks Are Growing Sharply

    The number of Nebraskans joining the ranks of those who receive food stamps and Medicaid services is growing sharply.

    The Lincoln Journal-Star reported

    More Tennesseans are receiving food stamps than ever before - nearly one in six - and the numbers are only expected to increase
